Ideal for giving hair cool light blonde highlights. Its dyeing pigment, berberine, is an important colouring substance also used in the past to dye wool, silk and leather in various shades of yellow. It also has antibacterial and antioxidant properties. To obtain good pastes, it is always recommended to use it in combination with other plants or mixtures.
| HOW TO USE: The use of pure Barberry powder is not recommended because it does not allow you to obtain creamy and easy-to-apply pastes. It can be combined with neutral powders (Ziziphus, Altea, Neutral Henné) in low percentages, so as to obtain good pastes without lightening its dyeing power. Alternatively, it can be used with other dyeing powders (Rhubarb, Red Henné No. 2 or No. 3) to lighten and illuminate the reflection. In combination with Biondo Camomilla, for example, it allows you to obtain a lighter and less golden blonde. |
