Monoi de Tahiti Scented Sticks 1 Lt

The use of the Monoi de Tahiti , handed down to us from the most remote times, is a typical aspect of Polynesian culture which includes its use for the beauty and perfume of the skin and hair.
In the Polynesian language " Monoï " means " scented oil " and in fact it is obtained from the happy marriage between two characteristic products of those islands: the coconut (Cocos nucifera) and the Tiare flower (Gardenia tahitensis).
The pulp of the Coconuts , cleaned of their outer part, are left to dry in the hot tropical sun and then processed to extract the precious oil with its well-known velvety and protective properties.
The oil thus obtained is left to macerate. Tiare flowers , emblem of Tahiti and a characteristic ornament of Polynesian women, who enrich it with their warm and intoxicating fragrance.
